Re: History on connect
Yea, I never really used Ynhub. I went from NMDCHub to something I don't remember the name of on Linux, then Verlihub, and at this time yhub and ptokax showed up, but since I was on Linux, I continued with Verlihub and when Ptokax started to work on Linux, I had gone to Aquila which I used for many ...

Re: History on connect
Oh, were we talking Ynhub? I wrote for Luadch... I don't know much about Ynhub, but I'm pretty sure that I've seen Ynhubs with history at login as well. So it's probably a checkbox hidden behind a menu which is behind another menu in the fourth tab of the third menu in the GUI

Re: WANTED: YNhub devs to take this to the next level
I guess you first need to get Yoshi, Nev or Todi, and get them to share the source code for YnHub, since it seems they have abandoned the project.
I used to nag Nev for the source, back in the days... But no luck. Then again, it was when they were actively working on it. Now they might feel different.

Re: SSL problems
Yes, try to reinstall OpenSSL. Keep me informed about your progress... BTW... if you want to "edit" the name of your hubsoft... Look at the file /luadch/core/const.lua (before compiling it), just make sure that you keep the names in the copyright(feel free to add your own, after all, you h...

Re: SSL problems
Did you compile it or use the binary? For compiling, I mentioned the packages to install libssl-dev takes care of the "module 'openssl' not found" error and lua5.3 should take care of the rest... If not compiled, you might need those packages on your system as well, since the libssl-dev ma...

Re: SSL problems
So, quick test done, and it works fine. I didn't use the binary though, I compiled ity myself. It runs Armbian, which is based on Debian/Ubuntu, so the commands are for Debian/Ubuntu/Mint and similar distributions sudo apt install build-essential lua5.3 libssl-dev git mkdir Devel cd Devel git clone ...

Re: Old DC++ via VPN
I don't know why anyone would want to run old unsecure DC++, but any DC client can be used with a VPN. If your VPN support port forward, you can get active by forwarding 3 ports, then add those 3 in your client. If your VPN can't forward ports... Then Passive Mode is the only way. Remember, it's the...

Re: First post
I use dbxfs to mount dropbox in the file system, so the backup is not on the system, just temporarily mounted as a virtual folder. When I run the script, it mounts the dropbox folder, takes the backups and moves them to dropbox, sends a list of the content of the dropbox backup folder through email ...
